Re Headline24, thank you for your concern, however the file size can be reduce considerably with the right codecs!

Have you used the H.264 codec? Its really worth having a look into, very good compression versus quality!

Re: #7 After Effects video. I agree, After Effects creates compelling motion graphics. But the file size is huge. Impractical for web delivery. Yes, the .swf file is small, but the Flv file you have to link it to is several megabytes. And for a text animation this long, expect at least a 10 Mb file. That's why it takes so long to load. Plus images are not as crisp as Flash. I have A.E. and considered that option as well.
Since Sarah Walker wants versions for web and movie trailer size, native Flash works best submitted here. A. E. is the best choice for movie trailer (NTSC) work.
S.W. Really needs 2 versions of the text animation, 1 for each platform. Just FYI, Hedline24

I' could have entered in this one, but after watching #7 , it would be a waiste of time, great work man...

I did mine in a gif animation, thats why when you click on it twice you see it play. But I also did mine in flash.

I would like to enter this contest. It is a great initiative that worths the work besides the money. Can you please clarify if you´re looking for a flash animation and if you have any preferences (or a already selected) misc track for this if you´re planning to use it?
