I need a cover for a technical ebook to be named "Dart for Hipsters" (yes, all of the good names were already taken).
The topic of the book is the Dart programming language. It is a very new language from Google, hence the "hipster". Dart is meant to be a replacement for Javascript in the web browser. Its primary goal is speed, hence the name "Dart".
The cover must include:
* The title "Dart for Hipsters"
* My name "Chris Strom" (SPELL IT RIGHT!!!)Optional:
* Graphic suggesting hipster
* Graphic suggesting a dart or target
* Subtitle: "Fast, flexible, structured code for the modern web"Desirable:
* Interesting typography -- nothing too fancy, but certainly beyond standard web fonts.
I would like PSD and Illustrator format. The PDF version of the book will be 7"x9". The target size for the marketing web site is roughly 390x500 pixels. Bonus points if it looks good in thumbnail format (110x140).
- Notes
-
Target audience is web programming professionals and language geeks. You know, hipsters.
Previous contests that I have run:

I *love* this design. Simple, conveys speed and had a comic book feel to it. It definitely stands out from typical technical ebooks.http://99designs.com/other-design-t…bone-97310
My co-author and I love this design because of the curly braces (big part of the Javascript computer language) being used to form a backbone.
