    Plate printing is the litho process, same princle as screen though, only one ink is used and the tone/tint is determined by the amount of ink applyed. It's quite a fun process.

    Thanks for your comments, the printing will be done by plate (litho?) rather than screen onto fairly large white cardboard boxes but as you have pointed out it is cheaper in one colour either way. We can get a couple of shades of a single colour done (like design #17)but we will consider one shade designs too (like design #11). :)

    I'm not sure. I think that printing with only one color is just cheaper no matter what method you use.

    That is why you would only want to do one color one pass under the press.. I guess it could also be lithography.

    It doesn't say it will be screen printed. It just says one color.

    This contest is rated unhealthy. I would do a design I just don't want to waste my time.? I'll come back 2morrow to scope if the rating changes!
