I’m looking to find the right designer/artist/cartoonist to create 36 cartoons for short run marketing materials. I’ll be selecting the winner based on 1 cartoon and will forward the brief for the other 35.

The test cartoon will be of a person realising that their computer has stopped working. It will be black and white only and will not contain text. It must be obvious without text that the computer is not working and the image must work in print in a square frame no larger than 2” by 2”. The size and style will be consistent over the 35 additional images so please don’t enter a design if you cannot replicate the style and size.The prize is for all 36 cartoons.

I am a marketer, not a designer. I want to see different art styles, different techniques and different skill levels. Feedback will be provided on all applications, but please do not feel limited by feedback left for others, your art and interpretations are unique so don’t try to copy somebody else’s style simply because positive feedback was left, similarly I want to see multiple applications, if someone else’s style is similar to yours and they received negative (or positive) feedback, don’t assume your application will receive the same. I want to see inspiration and your work and I want the additional 35 cartoons within one week of the close of this contest. I am also looking for somebody who can follow the instructions provided as each additional cartoon is already briefed.
I want to emphasise that all skill levels are welcome.

Perfection, I really don’t. I’m not looking for technical ability (I wouldn’t recognize it anyway). I don’t want somebody who cannot complete the additional cartoons required by the week after this contest.
