I would like to thank everybody for their participation in this competition. I would especially like to thank JR for his great designs and the depth at which he approached the solution.

However, Elijah14's design came out of nowhere at the last minute and seemed to be the instant winner. I then showed the short list of potential winners to several people and all of them also voted for Elijah14's design.

Okay... I'll rate them, although not being specific might be tortorous.

Also, I don't think a tag line will be used in the final version.

Just to let you guys know I'm still alive and monitoring the contest. The reason I am not giving active feedback is because I don't want other designers following the advice I give one designer to improve their design and evnetually copy his design etc.

There will definitely be a winner, so please put forward your concepts. You will win based on concept and we'll finish the logo afterwards.

I'm not too sure where the tagline "Defending the Deaf" came from. If anything was appropriate, it would be "Mending Our Ways".

What i meant to say in my fist comment was, I will point out things which I don't like, but I'm not going to use this contest as a way of improving the ones which I do like.

Entries are like a proof of concept and we'll finish things off with the winner.

One additional comment, though, is that gradients (as in #5) should be avoided.

Thanks for your entries everyone. I'm definitely going to pick a winner in this contest, so I kindly ask everyone to just put forward their entries (as you've done) and I'll pick the winner when the contest stops accepting further entries.

Once the winner's been decided, we'll fine tweak it and then announce the winner.
