We picked Choomba for our company! Dauber, Keebo and Yongy where also in our mind. Because of domainnames and registered trademarks some of them we had to eliminate. Thank you all for your input. CHOOMBA is the name of our new company. It was a hard one to pick. We scanned al of the names, not only iff the domainname was available but also in registers. Many names were registered, like an other favorite KEEBO (clothing). Dauber run second, but many domainnames where taken. Thirth place: Yongy. Also a great name.
The contest is suspended by 99designs.com. We will pick a name soon!
Just in case you didn´t know: some domains are already registered, but you nevertheless get a "not found" error, so
http://www.internic.com/whois.html or http://www.denic might be useful.

Oke, now I see your point. Thank you for your alertness. We are already checking all of the names, not only if they are available on the internet but also with several Company Houses.
That sentence lacked a bit of grammar indeed....
I was saying that three-letter domains in .com and .nl are probably already in possession of someone and are quite expensive to buy (this especially goes for .com domains, they often sell for $xx,xxx). I don't know whether you've got the funds to do that, so I just wanted to warn you.
Nfn I don't really understand what you are saying. Could you be a bit more specific?
CH, I hope you know that 3 letter (two vowels) domain in .com is very expensive (and taken)? So are all the ones with 4 letters.
Please let us know which name, of your fellow creatives, do you think has potential!
We find it rather difficult to pick. We will look at:
1. availability .com / .nl
2. we have to look at if the name has already been taken by an other company
3. maybe there are names competing that spelled a little bit different but are much the same
It is true that some of the .com names are already been taken. But for a small amount of money most of them can be purchased. Besides that 5 stars means that that is the kind of name we are looking for. Thank you for your alertness.
a lot of the names you have given that are 5 stars are already taken domain names incase you didn't know or were just giving them high stars so people knew what you were looking for. either way i thought i would let you know before you make a pick.
