I hope the money was worth it after iStockphoto has now been informed of this infringement.

    Permitted Standard License Uses:

    (a) You may only use the Content for those advertising, promotional and other specified purposes which are Permitted Uses (as defined below). For clarity, you may not use the Content in products for resale, license or other distribution, unless (i) the proposed use is allowable under an Extended License which is available for the Content; or (ii) if the original Content has been fundamentally modified or transformed sufficiently that it constitutes an original work entitling the author or artist to copyright protection under applicable law, and where the primary value of such transformed or derivative work is not recognizable as the Content nor is the Content capable of being downloaded, extracted or accessed by a third party as a stand-alone file (satisfaction of these conditions will constitute the work as a "Permitted Derivative Work" for the purposes of this Agreement). For example, you cannot superficially modify the Content, print it on a t-shirt, mug, poster, template or other item, and sell it to others for consumption, reproduction or re-sale. These uses will not be permitted as or constitute Permitted Derivative Works. If there is any doubt that a work is a Permitted Derivative Work, you should either obtain an Extended License or contact iStockphoto's Client Relations for guidance. Any use of the Content that is not a Permitted Use shall constitute infringement of copyright.

I'm sure you read this and now clearly in the wrong on the use of the image you purchased as it constitute infringement of copyright under the terms Permitted Standard License Uses in their CONTENT LICENSE AGREEMENT.

I bought this 300dpi photo from iStockphoto for circa 6 dollars, check properly their terms of use. You should better work on your design skills, instead of critizing other people job. Especially when you know nothing about.

I do respect others but know that when it comes to contest that use images most tell
the host they need to obtain the image cause they can't do it for them. Hey you should
not worry if you did it right. ~Bob

Respect others first! Before criticizing others, how do you know people did not get permission of the images? Please Learn to tThink good of others then you! Instead of sitting there and laughing and thinking bad of others, do your work!!!
It's not your responsibility to teach others about copyright!!

lol...the page is full of them c4k. Funny how people forget that contests are
legally consider sales and selling royalty free images is against to many image
stock sites policies. This is how they make their money.

Couple things I like to point out using people's images without permission or likeness can cause
trouble if permission is not been attained. The image might be royalty free but you need to check
the fine print of the site you attained the image where 9 out of 10 times they have a clause not
for commercial use or something to that effect.

The host has made it clear no Western Union for their own reasons so why hound them when they say
    no in the first place?

To the host you said you have a couple logos you want to see in the design what and where are they?

Western Union payment can be process within 5 mins, it will not take times to pick up too. I think, Western Union is the good way to pay in a min.

I can't accept Western Union for this one beacuse it takes too long. I need the design in my hand by Monday morning, so the book can go to print.

What logos you were wanting on the cover? I couldn't find that specified in the details.
