One more thing... hagios, just so you know, #191 is truly an original painting, and yes, it was done just for this contest! It was done by an artist who lives across the river from us here in the Hudson Valley. Hence, the scene depicted is a fairly accurate one. Just thought you should know.... :)

Good evening, one more time, Designers... We couldn't quite come to a final decision last night. This has been tough; the quality of the designs is excellent! THANK YOU all for your wonderful efforts, for your creativity, and for sharing your talents with us. When we embarked on this journey for a new label, we really didn't know what the result might look like. We knew it must contain the "quartet" theme. When the submissions came in, we liked both the musical interpretations as well as the grapes (and also the number 4 :)). And yet, in the end, we are only able to choose one design. For our "Red Quartet," Design #157 is the winner. The designer has agreed to make a couple of minor adjustments to the design; we like its simplicity, the color interactions, and the interpretation of "Red Quartet." Congratulations to delavie! We wish all of the designers the best in the future. :)

Good evening, Designers, we've had long discussions and reviewed the designs many times. This has been a difficult process; there is just so much talent among you! Our finalists are: #196, #182, #163, #161, #157, #97, and #31. We will make every attempt to select the winning design by tomorrow evening. Thank you all!

#191 is this the artist's painting? or is ripped off from somewhere? not much of a "orginal work" unless the artist painted it just for this contest.lol

Hello, Designers, we just want you to know that we are actively working on the selection of our top contenders. There are a number of great designs, and this is a difficult process - more difficult than we had imagined; we even find ourselves looking again at a couple of designs we had originally rated as 3-stars! Please, we ask for your continued patience. When we can share a short list of top contenders we will do so right away. Thank you!

What a whirlwind week this has been for us! And WOW, what incredibly talented people you are!! We will review all the latest designs tomorrow (Monday) evening; then, we'll attempt to choose our "top 10" and finally, select a winner by the end of this week - Friday evening. That's our timetable, and we'll do our best. In the meantime, we want to thank all of you for your efforts and your communication and your willingness to work with us on this journey. THANK YOU ALL! delavie, our wine bottles have traditionally used "GLORIE" in all caps; this remains our preference. For the Red Quartet label we are planning to include the alcohol %, our address, and other legally required information on the same label in some space we have reserved for that purpose (to the right of the label design).
