We are looking for a designer to create a cover for Evan Malach's new book "Now Boarding: Adventures in Elevation"

The book is a spiritual memoir with true stories meant to uplift readers from surviving to thriving.

The first story tells the tale of Malach getting lost snowboarding in the frigid Whistler mountains. Just as his dire situation dawns on him, he receives the following text message:

"What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us, what we have done for others and the world lives on and is eternal." -Albert Pike

Immediately upon reading the message, his phone battery dies and he is forced to brave the wild alone for the night.

After his survival experience, Malach shares reflections as he travels around the world trying to spread the message.

Forced home due to his father's battle with cancer, Malach learns the most integral lesson of all as his dad fights to survive.

The concept for the cover is to have the message of the author expressed in a visually compelling way.

Depicted in the snowboarder goggles is a broken hourglass, but instead of sand coming through the broken glass, it is snow and he sees a snowboarder silhouette riding through Dali-like time imagery.
