Sidebar here, (I'm new to this site) does anyone know the average time frame for contest holders to declare a winner?

#162 is absolutely beautiful...nice work, Azza. I love it even if the concept has been used before (nothing coming to mind)

the circle brush stroke is not a tool. - just because every other zen logo uses it doesnt mean its a tool, people just associate it with the term.

in this logo's case, the circle brush stroke is a tool, because it's pretty much used in every other zen logo posted.

as for the question: the description states that it's a web design/dev firm, so that's probably why.

also, why is a design firm looking for a logo to be designed? - that doesn't make a lot of sense.

The "Circle Brush" is a significant symbol in Japanese culture. The proper term for it is an "enso", which is meant to represent enlightenment and inner peace. Its not a design tool or a "brush".

well try to search in google. type "Zen". that's common idea for zen, just the same as cicle brush.

Glad all my ideas are so popular - 3 stacked rocks and vertical writing are now popping up everywhere. I think this is called copying.
