Is it possible to upload another design I was late one delivering my revision
...when these are "crumbier"
4 star got eliminated ... -.-
Ok, welcome to the final. Now that we've received a variety of submissions we will now refine the requirements of the logo. Don't be afraid to abandon your previous design, but remember to keep the focus on the name, equal importance on both words and simple, modern styling.
1) Theme - we need to get rid of any smiley faces and focus on the "crumb" aspect. It should be used sparingly and discreetly, but cleverly incorporated into the logo. Perhaps this question may help, "What does a YumCrumb look like?". To be specific, the crumb trails currently used (#167, #168, #176) are too erratic, hard to see and poorly placed in the current versions. They simply don't look like they have purpose, structure and take away from the professional look of the logo. These issues need to be addressed in the next versions.
2) Font style - we need to get rid of any cursive or bubbly lettering. it should be modern and angular, in the vein of #127.
3) stay away from any "YouTube" style designs. fortunately, we don't have any final designs starting with this
Feel free to ask anymore questions if you need to.
Just noticed the two(2) contest extensions... my bad! ew
All - please begin using dark backgrounds for your revisions. The most common use of the logo will be on a dark background so I think that's most appropriate to make a decision on.
All, please limit or eliminate your use of a tongue in your designs. I think it moves it away from the sophistication and clever look I'm asking for
As it relates to including any of the themes, most of the entries so far have been very literal. I'd like to see some more abstract/artistic forms of the theme ideas
Hey all. I'm hoping to get a little more drama in the the logo. So far, they have been very light-hearted. I'm hoping to someone that speaks to the foodie community, which are typically have more sophisticated tastes (a least they like to think so anyway.....haha). Thanks!
Really hoping for some creativity! Let's see what you can come up with!
#1 and #2 are too difficult to read and the red oval has no meaning or relevance to the service. #3 and #4 are more interesting, and I like the smiley face, but it's a little over the top and the font is too sloppy (don't like the pock marks and the irregular shapes). #5 and #6 have no originality.
Could you at least give some feed back so we can have a better understanding of what your looking for. like what did you not like about the designs that each of us have submitted. what would you change? etc..
What did you not like about entries #1 and #2?
