To Caryn Garal: I just posted an entry that is very similar to yours, but I promise I didn't get the idea from your entry, although it is right next to my first one. Actually, that's how I realized we had very similar concepts, because I was scrolling through to look at mine. This is the first time I have checked to see what other people have submitted, so I had no way of knowing that you had basically the same thing I just created until now. I hope you understand, I see that there have been several plagiarism disputes on this page, but I had no intention of doing so with my design.

I am also sorry! :( I just hate how people pounce on me for something so little and it was not even to do with them. I am here to design and not to fight. The only thing is, that I would like some originality in designers, designs... That's all :) It was actually a dingbat that I used but you know what I am a, High school student, And I don't know how to do complex things like, a lot of these designers on this site. Thats why I get mad when my ideas get used because I know that they can come up with something better than that, and I am doing that design because that is all that I know how to do with the computer. I do get practice but for know thats what the CH liked, so I am still building on the design, and learning a few things here and there. So I am also sorry, for the way I acted. Julxz I accept your apoligy and I am also sorry to the CH and everyone here doing a wiki fashion logo! :) Good luck to everyone and may the best designer WIN!! :)

that's why i said the originality sense is becoming more bias and got distortion now. using dingbat is always a taboo. you can use them for display but not for logo. as i said if that's the case than the credit goes to that dingbat font designer. you should buy the font. the price will be much different when using them as logo rather than for organic visualization. .. :)
I really think this matter should be cleared in a forum. where all the guidelines for designer and CH is visible and strict.

Hi I just want to apoligize for my comments I was a little tipsy last night (HAPPY 4TH!) and I got mad beacause of the rudeness JULXZ displayed. Royal is a very young but very talented designer who is a h.s. student and I felt compelled to defend. Anyway Royal: try PMing others with concerens so no more fights OK?

PS I feel dingbats are used all over 99designs so it isn't s taboo as everyone is saying. But I have noticed that the first designer with the idea is the one with the rights to it. jmho

I don't know what to say guys... julx got a point there, altough he seems kinda harsh telling about it. using dingbat is very tabooo here. since it's a font not a shape that made by yourself. and royaldesign because you are new here, i don't want to give you bad impression. It's not designer way, just sticking some dingbat shape into some word... if that the case, the credit goes to the font designer.. not you :)
you still have to learn much (you said so from comment above :) ). Being good is take a lot of practice and learn. see how other designer's process, examine the style but not copying, you'll improve. And not doing immature comment above, same goes to you tropicalicedesigns :)
