Still awaiting some feedback from some friends but since I'll be out of town wanted to settle this before I left. It was tough to decide with so many excellent designs. The feedback I got was all over the place yet 137 remained a popular choice with almost everybody and does really stand out. Thanks to grafixsphe on their creative stand out design.

Thank you everybody for all the entries and stunning work. The hardest part is deciding. I narrowed it down to 5 designs, all of which I could live happily ever after with. I'm doing this web site and design to attract a certain client so I want to get as much feedback from other as to what logo might accomplish that best. I'm still waiting for a few people to give me some feedback. I should decide in the next couple of days.

narrowed it down to my top favorite designs. They fall I notice into 2 different groups. The whimsy group, 64,53 and the more serious group #71 and #137. I want to get some more feedback from the audience I'm hoping to attract to make a decision. In such a crowded field I want to stand out but In a good way.

have only renumbered the designs to group them together as there seems to be no other way to do that. I like having the variation of a design and also some business card ideas to see how it looks on a card. It's down to 7 designs. Still getting friends feedback. Thanks everybody for your very creative work.

Wow that is tought but in the end I selected 65 and 52. Simple, easy to read and memoriable. I kind of liked the CY on top of each other with the purple but could be hard to see the C Y for some. The gold and silver CY stands out, its simple and memorabile. Cool contest

This may be rather indelicate, but I thought I should point it out: the C and Y in #97 look the K and Y on KY Jelly bottles. I’m guessing that’s not quite the association your friend wants, and it’s the first thing I thought when I looked at it.

Here's some of the feedback from friends:

I like this one the best. #90, 64 It is simple, but interesting, and with the business card you can actually see where the CY comes from. It isn’t very obvious in some of the other designs. The colors in this are nice and gentle, whereas the ones with black and that gold color are a little too stark and kind of masculine. And lastly, this design gives the logo attention, but the top version of the card has a good balance between the logo and the “Wedding Photography”, which should be the part that stands out more. In some of the other designs, the CY was overwhelming, and made me wonder who and what “Cy” was. There’s no wondering with this design.

Terry I set up a camera with some friends in the studio and took pictures of them and them one of them took a picture of me.

eili Where are you from? Weddings are probably the time that most consumers will spend the most money on photography. It's also probably the time they will spend the most money on a party. I think the wedding celebration is universal but not sure about the photography part of that.

Wow, Thanks to all for the great response and great work. Many talented people out there and appreciated all input as it helped me to define what I wanted. Still a tough choice as there is some stellar work. I enlisting some friends to give input to help me make my choice.
