    I'd also like to state that I am a BIG Apple Fan - I love the reflections in their Designs and the Black, Greys, and Photo Treatments used on the Apple.com site. BIG APPLE FAN!!

    On the Ratings : You hate them, I hate them - I hate using them . . . so it's up to me to try to offer direction about the design. Until I see more offerings I will try to give as much direction as I can.

    I can't see the logo I want! But I have a vague idea of it. It could be something from iStock for a background, but then again I want customized about Santa Barbara.

    I hope too much information is better then not enough information.

    DBratsch: I like thw concept, except for the fonts are too overpowering and I'm not really digging them Bevels.

    AlliedScape: The Logo is interesting yet seems to much like a Gym logo and the Type almost reads like LOCAL making for some confusion of the Site URL. Nice Concept though.

    Sorry that I don't have any sample ideas yet to post here. I know that the possibilities of different designs will come through - I will try to find examples if you can't come up with something.
