Just a quick note to let you all know that the webpage design by mudeth is the sort of thing I'm after. A fully detailed design with social networking. Now let's see if anyone else can do any better!

Another thought - maybe trying to include the 80s reference is stifling the designs. Designs that reference memories, remembering, sharing memories and that sort of thing are OK too.

OK some general feedback on the logos. The logo by entz has great fonts, colours and layout and the logo by sigode has a great graphical device. I'm looking for something that combines the best of both of these. Jyon has totally got the 80s look and feel although I'm looking for more of a contemporary logo with just a hint of 80s.

WRT webpage designs. Please read the brief carefully. I'm looking for a redesigned CONTENT page not FRONT page. I'm also looking for a more intuitive and obvious inclusion of the social networking tools (see retroland.com for someone who deos this well). Please read the brief carefully since I can only accept designs that meet all these criteria.

Thanks everyone - some interesting ideas coming out now!

Should also point out that I don't really consider just the words Do You Remember to constitute a logo. A logo should really include some kind of graphical device.

OK I think I need to stress some of the important points of the brief again since very few of these designs is coming close to what we're looking for:

We are looking for a detailed webpage design which includes all the features of the current site but laid out in a more usable and friendly way
We are trying to emphasise and enhance the social networking tools already built into the site (no-one has included this at all)
We are looking for a webpage and logo design that is web 2.0 with an 80s reference. Not 70s. Check out the logo by jyon who seems to have really got the 80s feel although missing the web 2.0 bit. The logo / design should be contemporary with a hint of retro.

So in summary we're looking for a complete design with all existing content, emphasis of the social networking and a logo which is web 2.0 but with a hint of 80s

Sorry not be more positive but it's just not quite right at the moment.

    Thanks
