99 Design guidelines
Make sure it's yours!
Make sure the work you are submitting is your own and that you are legally entitled to post it. If you are using any stock images in your design, make sure that you inform the contest holder that they will need to purchase licenses.
That doesn't mean anything. The CH holder said they didn't like #8. Not because it was original, but because it wasn't executed right. Even though some designers are using stock imagery doesn't mean everyone can do it. In fact, it's against the terms of 99designs and could get you suspended.
Sorry, I still don't understand what you meant by, "read the brief".
i just say read the brief and then look at other works. Can you see any original hand draw? #8 original but eliminated. All another are stock...
Odhinn, where in the BRIEF does it state we can use stock images? I've read it twice now.
Please read the BRIEF and look at other works. Everyone use stock photos.
