Water For Waslala
Water for Waslala is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to ending the water crisis in Waslala, Nicaragua. We work with rural Waslalan communities to implement cost-effective, sustainable water technologies that improve health and foster educational and economic development. The primary technology used by Water for Waslala is a gravity-fed water system. These systems capture water from natural springs in the Waslalan mountains before the water flows downhill and becomes contaminated. The captured spring water flows downhill through buried PVC piping to various groups of households and schools within a rural community. Each household receives a faucet outside the home that is connected to the system, which provides a 24/7 supply of clean drinking water. We’ve also begun testing the effectiveness of two household filtration technologies: ceramic filters and biosand filters.

While not an absolute necessity, we'd like to integrate the idea of water in the design. Maybe waves, or drops, or something else. We'll consider non-water based designs as well.
We want a new logo that we can use for print (on marketing materials) and for our website. We'd like to see logos integrated with "Water for Waslala", "WfW" and variations thereof. We'd like to see variations in single and multiple colors for the various uses.
Please review our website for additional information about the organization: http://www.waterforwaslala.org/
