Hi, we are finalizing our decision on the logo. We should have a decision within a few days, but it may be longer. The website design only had a few entries before the deadline, but we are in contact with those in regards to a few changes to their submissions before we make a decision.

    Thank you.

If some of you are working on the website design, we've decided that we'd really like something along the lines of the Starbucks website (www.starbucks.com). We don't minde paying homage to a great companies website.

I'm not sure what a design that "lends itself to multiple locations" actually means or is. You'll have to explain further. I'm guessing that you're talking about the website.

When you say that you are considering franchising, do you want a design that lends itself to multiple locations?

There are some really good logos over here, I'll be creating the web design for this one soon, leaving a placeholder for the logo. Is that fine?

Thanks for your input. We like the concept of our current logo and are not adverse to keeping an updated version of the "C" and "G" as a coffee cup. It doesn't represent us perfectly, but then, how many logos do that. We would just like to see some alternatives to it if in fact, someone has a creative idea.

    Thanks.

your coffee cup idea is still brilliant. Not many companies have this creative oportunity.
So, even if it's not entirely correct or food related, it suits the job perfectly.
It's very brandable and for me it would be more important than the (weaker) food thing.

it's like mc Donnalds, everybody knows it but it doesn't show any food.

I should make note that the new logo does not have to be "coffee oriented", as we are primarily a breakfast and lunch gourmet cafe. It just happens that our current logo uses the "CG" from Cafe Gourmet as the parts of the coffee cup, and we originally thought that was pretty cool. As a matter of fact, we would like to see logos that aren't coffee oriented as well.

    Thank you.
