    Designs have not been ranked. But this doesn't mean that I'm not open to new ideas not show on the board. Please keep pushing your design abilities. we only have 1 day and some change left so turn up the WOW factor!!

    OK second round cuts and feedback to all designs.
    ----Also designers please feel free to expand on your ideas a little more. It seems like most people are all coming up with the same general ideas. I know its hard to do but try and not be influenced by what's already on the board. Think about your own ideas and develop them on your own without looking at what's already submitted, this way you are creating your own original idea and not being influenced by other concepts. I respect an original idea more and you will to. Feel free to submit what you like there are no boundaries, I'm a designer too so I can recognize potential and would love to see more.

    I couldn't have said it better myself and I think everyone has made good efforts, very good quality logos in this contest. Everyone could do U&G icons but do completely different concepts, so it is unique.

    @Cannonfoder: As with any logo/icon it's up to the designer to make it original while simultaneously fulfilling the needs of the client and creating a design that appeals to their market - if you design a logo you're free to present it like the rest of us, but please don't scoff at those who participate as it reflects badly on all of us.

    Personally I think mikec has a brilliant concept if he fleshes it out a little. I'm probably out of this contest as my icon may be a little too abstract (as usual for me - though some clients appreciate my freaky style), but I was going for something interesting and "uneek."

    It's the concept itself that matters, the contest holder may want an icon with U and G ;)
