Ok it's finally time to select a winner. I must say that it was a fair run. You all submitted some great entries! My biz partner and I had a very difficult time breaking it all down. I mean when we went into this we had the designer basically picked out. Then another design came along that trumped it and finally we saw what we believed to be the PERFECT design for this blog.

We weren't able to narrow down a logo choice until the last min. We had one pick in mind but decided to go with the same designer for both!

So without further ado here is the contest winner:

OK to all remaining entrants. I do not want to take up too much of anyone's time. Therefore, I will confer with my biz partner and we will reach a final decision by Tuesday Jan. 16 7:00pm eastern time (USA). I feel that we have a handle on who the top finishers are and therefore, we will proceed as such.

I appreciate everyone's effort in this contest and for those who are not chosen, please don't take it as a shot at you, or your work. We simply have a particular idea in mind for the site. This does not mean that in the future we may not have a need to change that design, and as such, we may be contacting you to do so. :-)

Lastly, I have not received any requests from any coders? If you are interested in coding a wordpress template then please please please send me a link to your previous work.

1- shearyadi) Coding should be for working wordpress code. I am planning to use wordpress, so yes, all code should be written to wordpress specs.

2 - Tammyhart) Actually running the contest is the perfect way to find the coder. If you want to put yourself above the rest, simply submit a template (in jpg and watermarked if need be) that you coded in wordpress and I will be the judge of your coding skills. The other way to simply message me with a link to the websites that you have coded for in the past. If the designer of the template here does not feel that he/she will be able to code the template that he/she submitted then you will be chosen as the coder. Expertise with wordpress coding will put you at the head of the class. :-)

3 - Rk Corp) No problem if you are not up to designing the logo RK, I believe this contest has drawn MANY logo designers. So feel free to submit your best design.

To all others, My apologies for my absence the past few hours. If you are submitting a template, please specify if you are planning to code for wordpress or well or if I should hire a separate coder for your design.

I notice a few people are having problems with the cow. Please bear in mind that the image does not have to be a cow. The design for the logo MUST include the words cow corner, and I am very keen on many script fonts. I think everyone should take nods from Milou Schum and venture out a little in terms of the design of the logo. Somehow that logo makes me think of a cow but it looks nothing like one. haha
