Emmel - yes I think that uncoded designs are fine at this stage.

Juggernaught great designs! I was going to enter this contest, but I fear all the best ideas have already been done! I might try to have to get an entry in tonight though if I can get the time.

    Hi David,

Would you be willing to accept un-coded designs?

    Thanks

We don't want the home page too be too cluttered. But there is some information we'll want to steer people towards. I was visualizing a home page that featured the 3 main areas for members that also steers people to events in an obvious way (I think we'll make our money selling upgraded event listings to event organizers). So we want the home page to be attractive to both users/members as well as advertisers/sponsors.

So having said that, I should probably note to all who are designing the home page to try to leave some space for a banner ad on top and below if possible.

Here is a brief outline of the info we plan to include:

    Advice/Ask the expert
    Events (local and national)
    o User and GFG create/submit
    o Rating/review system
    Tools & Resources
o This is where we include helpful links
    Local Triathlon Business Directory
    o Free
    o Paid Listings

Topics A-Z (This is primarily information resource pages)
o Will be organized by major topics below. Each major topic will have ability for sub topics/categories. Examples include:
     Training
     Entering the sport
     Personal Wellness
    Weight loss
    Beauty tips
    Other
     Travel/Tourism
     Food
     Clothing/Apparel
o User/Member Submitted articles in each topic/category. Need to include comment/feedback area under each article posted

@omegga: I am not trying to be rude, its flattering, but come up with you own color scheme and layout for the logo
