Our “WHAT”: We help talented and gifted individuals connect and form business relationships with members of their community. Our goal is to facilitate these individuals achieving their personal and professional goals, give them more flexibility in their life and work on their true passions in life. We hope to help to create a class of new micro-entrepreneurs.
Our “HOW”:
We facilitate aspiring micro-entrepreneurs by creating a marketplace for their services and helping them promote themselves through a comprehensive user profile. We give users the ability to post service requests, search through profiles listings, and contact micro-entrepreneurs to create flexible business arrangements.

Our target audience is the hundreds of thousands (millions really, although they may not know it yet) of gifted and talented micro-entreprenuers in America who strive to be great (although they may not know it yet). Our initial target demographic will be 20-50 year-old women, many of whom are stay-at-home moms but are educated, extremely talented and gifted, and have a lot of untapped potential. We do not want to limit our logo design to only this demographic, however. We would like it to help inspire anyone in our target audience.
We are looking for a logo to be the face of our web start-up: iknowofsomeone.com.
We would like it to serve as a metaphor for our "WHY", taking into account our "what and our how", if possible.
The color scheme of our website is a light blue (similar to Facebook's blue color) mainframe with a darker shade of yellow for the search tab to the top of the site and the buttons. Similar to UCLA colors for further information. Ideally, the logo should be compatible to any color scheme.
We would like the logo to refelect the most current trends in UX and logo design. Please see the site below for reference.

Lastly, please feel free to be flexible and creative. A great logo will be part of the brand and enhance the user experience. This site has a lot of potential and that means a lot of future work as well.
