EVERYONE, #85 Trumps all.

Hey everyone. I hope I don't seem like I'm leading anyone on each time I say that we really like either logo, but I have to say that the client really likes the Lemon squeeze one #66.I'm starting to agree with him. I'm thinking it would be nice if it had a little something to flesh out the top blue area, and maybe if the logo was fleshed out a little bit. The logo could probably be a little bit larger, the text a little bit wider, and the gradient could probably be perfected; also, the lemon and arrow part could probably be a little bit sharper or something. Just some ideas. It looks really good up there.

However #67 perfected the last idea 100%. Great work man! It could be it. Can you put up a version with the whole page below it so I can see how the whole site will work rather than just a chunk of it.

Also, #66 brought something totally new to the table--that lemon thing.WOW! Great Concept. Can you Embelish upon it a little bit--maybe borrow somethings from the other really good ones I just mentioned.

Ok, now it's getting really crazy--a little bit too crazy. I'm kinda running out of steam of helpful direction-steering things to say. To win this, it's going to take just making something unobtrusively and perfectly fits int he upper left corner. Whatever that is, I don't know.

I'm not saying just put all that stuff randomly together like I did. I'm just showing yo how it looks cool. It needs to make sense though. Mine currently does not.

NOTE: I love his check-mark as showing the blue background. That's a great idea to take advantage of that nice blue and not be too yellow.

Here's a comment from my client: A folder w/check could be something. It can have a double meaning, if everything checks out in the file its sweet submission.

...Pretty much, check the above yousendit.com link and replace that house with a folder with a check through it or a folder with something happening to it that makes it just fit perfectly into the top left corner of the site.

Otherwise, I want to note somethings that are very good in some of these designs:

-when there is use of the blue background--for instance if you can see the blue background through parts of the logo. I don't want a bulky logo. I don't want to hide all the blue background up there. The site is already too yellow, so let's not make it too much more yellow.
-I like what #26 has going on for the style and font of the text
-I like the shadow that lies on the blue background for the text in #26
-I like how #20 does that blue space thing I was talking about. The logo is not just one yellow block--you can see through most of it, and most of it is actually blue.
-I like the yellow arrow aiming down from #21
-I like the yellow arrow aiming up from #23
-I like the shape and feel of the paper airplane from #23

Lastly, I'd like to see the aspects of #23 and #26 combined with a Folder somehow and made to fit perfectly in the upper left and top of this site without hiding the nice blue.

I like the way it flows and just fits. Maybe we can make something like this fit, but with a file folder instead of a house in the left side. The folder needs to have the rounded swoop effect that the arrow does--that's what makes it fit perfectly. It goes with the roundedness of the black tabs.

@rogvaiv regarding #5 , I like how that one is very symmetrical and fits very well. The only thing is that the circular arrows don't really make logical sense for the theme and concept of the site. They just look cool. Otherwise, i think the U-shaped arrow is done for--it's also not consistent with the theme of the site, especially the U aspect. I think you're on the way to something, but unfortunately, you need to try something totally new. Message me if you wanna chat about it. I think you have a lot of potential for getting this logo right.

Hey Everyone, I like 9, 13, and 17 the most. Here's why:

-17 has the most potential but needs the most work. The text looks too much just as black. The heart needs to not be there--no hearts, please; they're lame. The house is what really gives this one the most creativity, especially the arrow in it.
-13 by Webtutes all around looks the best already. It also needs the heart not there. But just the colors of the text and the arrow on the right side make it fit perfectly. I think this is really close, and I would like to see something magical happen that takes it up a couple notches. One issue with it is that, even though the arrow fits perfectly on the right side, it looks amateurish.

-9 by wukasin is good in that it makes the text leave just the top left area. That will be empty space unless we can make the logo go there. Otherwise, this logo needs the most work because the checkbox (or check circle) has nothing to do with theme of the site. It however does look good. If we could morph that into a file, folder or file folder (whatever the difference is between those). It would also be nice to see yellow text for "sweet" instead of white, maybe. In general, it seems a little out of place. I know it's hard to make the logo mesh with the rest of the site, but if there is anything we can do to almost connect the logo to the yellow and black stuff below, that would be great.

So those are my thoughts guys. I've always imagined a logo that came up from behind the yellow box in a triangular shape like an arrow and shot/aimed to the upper left, while some of the arrow was behind the yellow box. I don't know. I just want it to fit perfectly with the design and not just look like a logo tacked in the upper left. Some of these logos are really close. I'd love to see where yall take them.
