Its our job as a deign community to point out a past event that ended in a bad way. ( to help others from wasting their time)It is then your decission on whether or not you want to enter. Bitter.. you Damn right. I get bitter when a contest ends that way then a contest holder waits for the smoke to clear to try again.
I dont appreciate having my belly rubbed for a week, making logos for an A contest holder who didnt have the courtesy to tell anyone what was going on and that a winner would not be chosen. Instead we kept making logos. Kevin your comment wasnt needed. I hope you never need someone to catch your back in the future. Heres a tissue. Wipe the smudge off your nose.

Have you looked at the comments section and client/designer relationships of the other contests on sitepoint? Wonder why this is the only contest where not only previous contestants but people who have NO personal involvement with the CH, feel inclined to argue in the comments section?

"I am very sorry for the entrants in the previous contest, but I feel my explanation was adequate. I also apologize for not having mentioned the judgement scenario in the full brief, but I assure you, this new contest will have a resolution because (reason why here). Thank you for your interest, and I hope I have addressed some of your concerns"

instead you said:
"GO READ THE F*CKING COMMENTS OF THE OTHER CONTEST, YOU WHINING IDIOTS"

Yes you explained. After many people kept bothering you to decide on a winner over a period of two weeks. My eyes are open and my mind is well. The facts are you didnt pick a winner. You never said that we had to please the entire city of Sandiego with the design. And you are very rude. Whats the matter? Didnt think anyone would remember what a terrible outcome your last contest had, so you have to try and make us look like we dont know what we are talking about?
