I'd continue but unfortunately I have to decline--my active client list is full for the moment (almost overfull x_x). Good luck all, and good luck to the CH. Hope you can find what you want & what will work.

thanks Andrew. We pay for licenses for a number of brands so it is not out the question at all

Been watching the progression of this since my warning/advice has been ignored...I might revise/put in something for "eyewarehouse", then...but only because I really don't want to get entangled in a mess, given that "Joe Cool" is the UFS trademark for Snoopy with -sunglasses- (that's actually what makes that character "Joe Cool" instead of plain "Snoopy"...it's the sunglasses).

I'm going to submit now that since it was the contest's holder's suggestion to more than one person in their comments for "eyeware"/"eyewear"/eyewarehouse"/"iwear" that anyone can do designs based on that name.

But I did PM the CH, as iWear is taken/registered.

I can't imagine that you'd get away with naming your company Rays or any average combo of the word - it's retty entrenched in the trademark database in many forms. If you really want something unique, you'll likely want to stay away from those names.

Whether it be for women or men's fashions, people (well, besides guppy since I know he's doing it) really need to start looking up their ideas on Tess (Trademark Electronic Search System) so that the contest holder doesn't have to go through the miserable process of doing ths all over again if the name selected is already registered. "Stellar" is already a standard character mark of a clothing & accessories manufacturer in the U.S. (as well as a non-U.S. eyewear/sunglasses company, so the CH wouldn't be able to use the name " "Stellar" [Eyewear] ").

    Look up your names/ideas! http://www.uspto.gov/index.html
