Hello all, thank you for looking at this contest. We are an export company in Japan called 4 Wheelers Japan, who primarily deal in sourcing and exporting used cars in Japan to all corners of the globe for the past 15 years. Even though we are a Japanese company, we are foreign owned. Our staff size in total is small but our client base is world wide as you can image due to the popularity of Japanese standard and performance cars. We recently updated our web site " www.4wheelersjapan.com " but something is still missing - a stand out logo!
Please help.

Our client base is diverse, please do not let the name fool you. We do deal in 4 Wheel drive vehicles but also if not more so, people movers, sedans, sports cars and even trucks. We have clients who are cars dealers who buy in bulk, and over the past 5 or so years we have had many inquiries from private end users. Long story short the web site is viewed by the car dealer in Africa or Australia who is looking for a long term supply of units out of Japan, to the very internet savvy private client in Europe or South America trawling the internet most nights looking for the hottest sports car in Japan, then finding a company to buy it for him that he can trust to send his money. We need to convey; professionalism, competency, long term reliability and above all trust!
As stated in our target audience section, we need to convey the feeling of professionalism, competency, long term reliability and above all trust! We are a Japanese company but in saying that I would like to avoid the stereotypical Japanese themes of;
- Rising suns
- Sushi
- Samurai
- Katana/swords
- Kamikaze
- Etc...
Something new please...
I would like two to three colors tops in the logo, darker colors are preferred.
I would like the logo to incorporate the theme of cars and global exports, along with the company name
If you are going to use pictures or icons in the design please do not make it too " busy ". By all means we welcome any ideas that just state the company name ( 4 Wheelers Japan ) and no pictures or icons.
The design will be used in various locations and adverts so please submit in ai format ( Adobe Illustrator file ). Our current logo is just a simple car (www.4wheelersjapan.com), this needs to be more eye catching but not off putting to the point of being a fly bye night operation.
