We allow university admission officials to search and review online profiles of foreign students who want to attend an American university. We are combining the concepts from social networking sites like match.com, facebook, and kiva, which are used primarily to connect people to solve the communication barrier between foreign students and universities in the US. We have a temporary site targeted at university admission officials at http://www.foreignApp.com
We are looking for a logo that can be used mostly online with the ability to use it in print as well. We want a word-mark or emblem that has web 2.0 characteristics. Our target audience is university admission officials who are older well-educated professionals so designs should reflect their seriousness, and professionalism.
I have noticed some designers have inverted/changed the colors of their logos to show what it would look like with different background colors. We love this concept and would like to see our logo presented that way. We also have a tagline that may or may not stay with us long term. It is “Recruiting Simplified”. You may incorporate it if you wish.
I do plan on guaranteeing the contest as soon as I get 10 designs and will make it blind if I can.
