From us all at tracesport.com we would just like to say a massive 'thank you' to everyone for taking the time to enter our logo contest. We're really pleased we came to sitepoint and have been blown away by the standard of some of the entries.

Unfortunately there can be only one winner and when it came down to the final decision, we all agreed that sangueblu had produced the perfect logo for tracesport.com. That doesn't mean that other entries were not in the running at the bitter end. In particular, the entries from mogeek, ulahts, de-sign and nejikun all made life very difficult for us last night.

Thanks again to everyone for entering, for responding quickly to our feedback and for putting in amazing efforts over the last 10 days. We truly appreciate it.

Once we've finalised the logo we'll be running a contest to design stationery, so keep an eye out for that.

The entries are getting closer towards what we are looking for... We hope the feedback is helping. This is just a general message to help all the designers.

Our company provides assistance to all levels of sport by linking people to various services. We are a not looking for a 'sporty' brand or a 'corporate' brand, but something in between the two.

I hope that helps a little more.

A bit of further information...Tracesport has a few of us analysing this competition and although the entries so far are impressive we have not all agreed on one logo that has the "wow" factor. We will try to provide feedback about the aspects that attract us to certain designs or aspects that we are less keen on.

We are agreed that the design should be more influenced by a "professional" style rather than the "sport" side of our firm.

One aspect that we would like designers to explore is the font. We are not 100% convinced that italic is the best style. Tracesport should definetly be one word.

These entries are looking good and we are definitely prefering lower case logos and '.com' as smaller lettering. We also prefer 'trace' and 'sport' diferentiated by colour or font. We are unsure of the colour scheme yet, but are liking blues, black and greys and possibly reds... not sure about yellows or greens.

We really like the logos that have used a 'T' shape symbol or a 'TS' symbol intertwinned.
