For some reason, I cannot see private messages. I am trying to resolve this through their contact/help system, but it seems a bit difficult right now. How can I contact you directly?
I tried to reply via PM and your PM and E-mail messaging is off KingCrim...
Thanks, I agree with Mudeth, Cleartype does use anti-aliasing, and his template will still look good with font anti-aliasing or not, is more on personal preference by the CH on the colour and layout...
Hi, tiger.. About your anti-aliasing issue, I don't think it's too strong. First off, I'm using a web-standard font meant for small sizes (Verdana). Secondly, I think he's judged based on layout and intuitiveness rather than font anti-aliasing. Don't mean to sound harsh, I'm saying what I think. If you're still adamant, or if the CH requests, I'm open to submitting a non-aliased version and sitting through a retrial. :)
BTW, Safari, Opera6 upwards, and IE7 do use sub-pixel rendering, and if you're using ClearType on XP, Firefox will be anti-aliased too.
Thanks, guys, and congrats, demonhale.
I understand why did you chose mudeth logo, it's really nice, but I don't know what to say about the template... I don't want to be mean, but did you noticed that the fonts used as the text content are smooth? Do you know that there's no way your coded website can look like that? Have you seen how it would look like without the antialiasing?
Good job guys...
Congrats guys!
Thanks for the opportunity, congrats mudeth...
Way to go Guys...!
Well, SitePoint's response indicates a major flaw in their system.
Anyway, here are the winners:
Uncoded Template: mudeth#8
Logo: mudeth#2 and demonhale#1
