Nice one Grady :)
You all have been so very patient. Thank you very very much. After the contest concluded, we gathered two separate rounds of voting from a very large number of associates and customers, and even had a final round it was so close.
The people have spoken. 102 is our new grand champion, in a decisive final round. Congratulations GRADE, you did an outstanding job to win this out of really over so many carefully crafted, unique, and beautiful logo ideas.
The winning “ring” logo has the following unique advantages:
- a very interesting gradated color combination,
- clear bold typeface that will look good when reversed against dark backgrounds,
- a symbolic “anywhere and everywhere” multi-directional sphere,
- an Escher-inpsired, layered 3D sphere that makes you look twice. This makes the design both distinctive and memorable.
The overall quality and uniqueness pushed this logo to the top.
All of the 4-star designs could have been winners, it was a tough choice.
Thank you all very much for helping us shape the future brand. This has been a fun experience and the competition was more than anyone expected.
This situation forces me to consider if these contests are worth any time at all. I say we all, only enter guaranteed contests or 99 designs should have only guaranteed contests. Let it just be part of the process. I will be considering withdrawing all my current contest entries now... :(
1 Week 4 Days later the drum roll is still going, eh?
as will I, this is rediculous.
I will check with the staff in regarding of this issue. This is your second contest held and no results.
ulahts
Drum roll please...
You all have done such fantastic jobs with your logos. Your work is now done and the difficult decision is now ours to pick a winner among winners, the crem de la crem. We will need some time now to test the designs on a focus group and we will have the final result before too long. Please be patient and check back here late next week for the final results - not sure at this point which exact day that will be, since we have some extensive opinion polling to do, but we will have a winner selected by next weekend. Stay tuned!!
OK, there is only time for you to submit 1 more design. We love all of you and your creativity! Just excellent all the way around, much more than we expected, guys and girls. We have many to choose from now, thanks to you.
Hopefully, our rather brutal critique of stars has helped you (and us) identify what we want. Crude quick designs will never make it (meaning less than 30 minutes work, in all probability). The finalists have obviously put a lot of time into the chosen design. I suggest not sticking with the same theme and repeating, since the winner will undoubtedly be requested to provide a few variations on the winning design. Instead, now is the time to throw down something truly shocking unique, to blow the others away with the uniqueness and professionalism. One of the tough choices we will have to make in this contest, beyond the colors and the chosen font, is the balance of CORP vs. CONSUMER. This is a mjaor theme which we wanted to synthesize into 1 design - a challenge we know. The right design will address both groups - not too consumer, not too all-business. That is where your right-brain comes in. Good luck to all! Just so you know, this is not 1 person deciding here - we have many many people looking at all your awesome designs, and thanks to the sheer quantity of great ideas, the collective favorite will win. Best to you!
199 is fantastic!
Sorry for being absent a couple of days - I just added more feedback now to nearly all of the designs.
This contest is incredible, you guys and girls represent the best on the web! There are so many great ideas that just keep getting better. The winner will have bragging rights to have won a logo contest out of 400+ entries. Amazing!
We are getting closer, just 3 days to go.
I hope through the feedback and ratings you can see where our vision is for this logo. It has helped us ourselves to see this start to materialize in your designs. For all of these years, we could not picture the perfect logo ourselves, and now it is forming in front of us.
Sometimes the best design comes to you when you close your eyes and forget all about what is expected. Let the light shine through your imagination!

I am here :) : #36
CH, Thanks. I submitted my entry. Have a look #9.
WebX - yes, absolutely vector art is great. We use Fireworks, which imports Illustrator. Thanks.
Penflare - YOU have answered your own question by entering a design that exceeds even your first entry, which was already excellent. Very nice design, it perfectly reflects the criteria we have for a design. What would be helpful to see is how this would look at a 40-pixel height area (no width limits) - this is the title bar area of FA. Would you increase the size of the font to fill that height, to more closely match the design element height in pixels?
Please rate the submissions later on. Thanks.
