If I gave a logo a 5 stars or 4 stars i generally put feeback on the wall for that logo. If I didnt give feedback or put 3 stars or less it's what I don't want. Just click on the logo's that I gave 4 or 5 stars to and check out the feedback I gave.

It helps to figure out what you like, if there are comments made about the other designs. This helps you eventually get what you want. I know that it would be difficult to comment on all of the designs. However if you would comment on ones that are near to what you want and those that are light years away from what you want, then it will help you get designs that will work for you.

If you are using TTF (True Type Fonts) only, then you should be ok to develope your design using Photoshop.
TTF fonts are scalable without loss of quality. Also, work in no less than 300dpi.
If the design (logo) is for web only, then Photoshop is acceptable as long as the CH realizes the design will not be much use
for anything else i.e print etc... but that also depends on the Photoshop users experience and skill.

Saying all that, I would advise any designer to learn 'vector' tools such as Illustrator or Corel Draw.

    clashmore,
Thank you for the heads up, I didn't know that. EVERYONE PLEASE MAKE YOUR LOGO IN VECTOR FORMAT. Unless you are using a program that will allow you to resize the logo without loss of quality.

You know what this one is? This is just a copy of two or so entries from other designers...
    Take a look...

Same concept + a little spices from your favorite (i leave my entry out here).
Dozens of times i have said i won`t enter on 100 bucks contests anymore cuz these are, in most cases,
the worst contests to work on...design isn`t for everyone as well as being ch..

Yeah, use MS Paint, everyone! That'll look great!

ADagan: Logos should be created in vector format to allow for the ability to resize the logo without loss of quality.

I didn't see the rating system, ill try to start using it... As for the one I really like, I don't care what it was made on, I am asking for a TEXT logo - even if you use paint that's fine just make it somewhat professional looking. The last few submissions have been great, more up my ally.

I really don't understand the concept behind the one you said was your favorite...not to mention the fact that it looks like it was created in Photoshop.

Feedback gives people direction, gives an idea of your personal taste and style - before any feedback is given, people are just shooting in the dark mostly so you're only getting back what you give. The rating system is new since the last time I was here but it would seem to be an easy and quick way to give a general opinion without having to take the time to type an explanation.
