I really want to say that it was very hard choosing a winner. In the end, we solicited a lot of feedback and based our choice on that.

Wow. I'm going to have a hard time choosing! Many of these designs are great. I'll try to post some more feedback soon.

I would be interested in seeing a few submissions that use different colors. Perhaps yellows or greens.

#11, the lines on silver make it difficult to read.

#14, I like this. Can you do a version that is more horizontal? Perhaps placing the icon in front or after the text?

I'm realizing that I like horizontal logos because they are a more efficient use of space along the top of a web site.

@miget I really like #6. The Tetris is cool. I would be interested in seeing a couple of variations. For instance, the L also seems to detached from Silver, perhaps if it was a touch closer.

@EPPWanabe, I like #2 the best out of your submissions. I'm not a big fan of the font, I think in this case I am favoring san-serif fonts. I also think that I'd like Silver and Arcade to be distinguishable, in your submissions they run together.
I know that you are trying to hit the fantasy component of what I described, and I think that is hard to do. I've tried to create logos myself with a sword and I gave up on it because it's hard to have a natural integration of the image and the text.
Please don't give up though.

For #3, I feel like the legibility suffers, particularly the word "Silver".
I also would like more color, I'm realizing that the use of gradients (even when subtle) appeal to me. I also find that I'm shying away from designs that are very angular.
It's hard for me to be critical, but I do want to help everyone with constructive feedback. :-)
