Hi Guys,
Our company are going to be launching 'Shortfilms.com' which will enable members to upload there 'short films' for other people to view online. It's a similar concept to YouTube but focused more towards the budding film producer / people which have a passion for creating short films, rather than clips of random celebrity mishaps or blog rolls etc.
We are looking for an extremely brandable logo which people will instantly associate with our site.
We want something whereby if we decided in the future not to use the words "Shortfilms.com" in the title, that we'd have a logo strong enough for people to recognize and associate with our site e.g. If you see the 'NIKE SWOOSH' without the word 'NIKE' displayed you'd instantly know it was 'NIKE' - Obviously this comes with good branding but thats what we plan to do.

The site is not live at the moment, its currently being parked while in development.

- As well as the word 'Shortfilms.com' - We want a strong symbol / hook which people will recognize e.g Nike have the SWOOSH - McDonalds have the M / tag line I'm lovin it - YouTube have the Redbox with Tube in it (I'm sure you get the idea).
- We want a brandable Logo, Web2 Feel, Crisp design, Catchy, Rememberable, fresh looking but not to busy.
- Logo Colour - You have a blank canvas to work with. All we ask if possible is that the colour could fit on a white or black background as we're undecided on the final background colour as yet. (not a biggy)

- At this moment in time i cannot think of any dislikes. If however i do think of any i will notify the users submitting designs.
