i can honestly say that i would not put this in my portfolio. My reasoning is that it would be hard for anyone to take you seriously as an artist. I am sure you have many that portray you as a more proffessional artist :) It's good work, but the subject matter isn't really PG also you never know who it could offend. Maybe put the creature one in your portfolio instead.

Thanks very much :-) this is my first win. im especially exciteed becaus im a photography major, and only do this stuff for fun ^_^ Now for a silly question to the artists out there--- is it safe to assume that even though this is considered a good piece, i shouldn't put it in a portfolio? its a shame because id like to show off that ive done something with my designs- especially again since this is all freelance with no training or schooling or anything like that just for fun, but i feel like someone would frown upon this?

not saying that i have a problem with this contest because-- i think the idea is phenominal!

so whats the plan for the rest of the contest/decisions? since when you assigned this contest i did think about the fact that i was reading teh cancellation of afew becasue they had inappropreate content--so its happend before. but you think they wouldve done this a lot sooner if they had a problem..

57TBIRD - I RECIVED AN E-MAIL THAT SITEPOINT HAD TO REMOVE ALL OF MY LOGOS WITH THE NEW MASCOT. IF THIS IS THE DIRECTION THAT YOU STILL WANT TO GO, PLEASE CONTACT ME.

I objected about removing entries because of adult nature. The portrayed images are in my opinion NOT of adult nature. They are the same images like this one: http://www.youth2006.com/fileadmin/…llyboy.jpg

that was one of the sponsors of the UNSECO youth festival 2006. Furthermore the same can be seen on condom vending machines on the open street all over the world.
