Hi riquede, can you explain a little more by what you mean when you say 'high tech'.... what do you think that represents... may help with getting you a design that goes in the direction you want :-) Maybe a few examples of what you like/don't like.

fine 3 pages, are fine, i can add the content to the other pages.
For $500, I'd say like the homepage and a content page coded is a good deal.

7 * 200 = 500
Doesn't sound right to me...
3 * 200 = ~500
would be more conceivable

Am I correct in that this contest requires design and coding for 15-20 pages??

If so, then I'm afraid that the prize on offer isn't anywhere near enough to cover the required work... this breaks down to $25 per page(yikes).(and yes I realise that it is only a couple of pages that need to be *designed* and then use one of the designs eg: internal page gets reused... nonetheless, it's all takes time to complete, particularly if you want quality work in both design and coding practices.) I'm sure that computer guys get paid much more than that per hour :-D

The Contest Guidelines suggest $200 min. for a *one* page design/code template.

I am really trying to help you here, not cause you any hassles, but to get the better designers/coders to submit to this contest, what I'd suggest is that you hold the contest for an entry page and an internal page (if it's different to the entry, which it generally is) and then either 'hire' the winner to complete the site as an extra, or find a coder via the "work for hire' forum at Sitepoint to complete the job for you. I'd also strongly suggest that you ask to see the quality of the coding work before you hire a particular coder.
