It's not a bot that gives the "thumbs down". It's other designers who are tired of seeing meaningless comments like, "CH, please give feedback to my design." or " I just love #48056!". Also, when it's a huge contest, it makes the page open up slower. I realize that I just did the same but the question needed to be answered and I agree with these actions.
