Broadband Utilities (www.broadbandutilities.com) is being rebranded to CloudSite Development. We are in the business of providing consulting and development services for users of high-end data centers. Our services include land acquisition, construction, engineering and design, and financing for large commercial projects. A data center is a facility used to house computer systems and associated components, such as telecommunications and storage systems. We are doing business in the United States and China.
Cloud computing is a systems architecture model for next-generation Internet-based computing. The messaging of the name CloudSite Development is intended to leverage the concept of “cloud computing” with the word “site” representing a real estate connotation. Each of our datacenters that we develop is called a CloudSite. We believe to have created a more intelligent process for developing data centers, hence our tagline – “Developing Intelligent Data Centers.”
Developing data centers requires commercial real estate expertise coupled with various engineering and design skills. Our business is best described as a commercial real estate firm with a significant technology company influence. Our culture is more formal than not, but the work environment has the feel of an early stage software startup.
Cloudsite Development
Our target audience is executive and managerial level individuals working in large companies in the United States and China, with an emphasis on the banking, insurance and high-tech industries. Many of our targeted customers have above average knowledge of technology and IT related services.
We need a name style and logo to become the focal points of our company identity (business cards, stationary, website and collateral materials). Please see the attachment to get an idea of what we like. I do not want to inhibit anyone’s creative thinking on this design, but we would prefer to have a name style / logo that is simple and elegant with a high-tech twist. The focus should be on “Cloudsite,” and “Development” should be in the background. A lot of our business is in China, so we like the color red. We believe red to be a powerful color in China.
