CloseDesign brief
I am a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business - SDVOSB. I am a Technologist and Project Manager. 11F was my "Military Occupational Specialty" (MOS) back in the day - it stood for "Infantry Operations and Intelligence". So, Tech 11F is a twist on those to mean Technology Operations and Intelligence. ( 11F has since transformed into 18F, but that is irrelevant).
Tech 11F, Inc.
US Government and Corporations that benefit from hiring SDVOSB contractors. The Federal Government has dictated that a certain amount of Government Contracts MUST be set aside for Small Business... disadvantaged, minority owned, women owned, and veteran owned, etc.
If you really care look at FedBizOps - a web site for Federal Business Opportunities... you might even find something for yourself... but do my logo first, ok?
See www.tech11f.com - a simple static web site that has an old version of a logo and a color schema. The original 11F MOS was on a shield but that is not needed. The tag line is "Technology Operations and Intelligence". I would prefer only a hint to the military aspect so that those in the know will see it but others won't be misled or distracted by it. I am not that fond of OLIVE DRAB ... ( I was in the US Army during VietNam ), but I do like Green... and gee, Green is popular as a theme these days... so lets stay with that in a minimalist way.
Another thought that I always liked ( and I date myself ) is the old Palladin TV series "Have Gun, Will Travel" - a western about a do-gooder gun for hire. I am a Certified Project Manager (PMP) and that is a well known, industry wide certification, so "Have PMP, Will Travel" is catchy - not sure if that works anywhere and is only a thought. It has no place in the Logo, but I may use it later on B-cards or stationery. I do love to travel and do projects, and ramble on.
Simplicity and Clarity counts.

Have fun.
Thank you.
