Thanks soooo much to everyone! I have the perfect logo, thanks to all your hard work. I really appreciate it, and I plan to use this forum for other design work in the future.

At this point, I'm liking the concepts with brown backgrounds, multicolored or tan / yellow foregrounds, sketchy or open-looking separate-from-the-text logos. The blues I'm seeing are a little too bright, and I'm not keen on red and grey colors.
I'm also still interested in a Web 2.0 look, with easy-to-read text and a simple, but not boring, logo.
Hope that helps!
By the way, semi-colons are my favorite punctuation mark. That doesn't, however, mean that they always translate into better logo material ...
Ratings System:
2 star and below - not really what I'm looking for.
3 star - getting closer but need revisions or a different take on your design
4 star - design is being considered
5 star - I really like the design and will make the final selections from these.
