We are a creative design and development house specializing in mobile app creation. We invent new creative apps, as well as work on marketing projects for media companies.

We want to look professional to appeal to established media companies, but also have a hint of fun and hipness for the younger generation.

IMPORTANT - the name of the company has changed - please resubmit designs with the new AppliCorp.
I have been requesting designs tie into mobile phone apps more and subsequently many of the designs have been framed to look like application icons. This is causing the logo to look boxy and heavy and it is not working. I would rather see the tie in to mobile focus more on either using a phone in the logo, or a finger as in touch screen. Also it would be nice to see the company name integrated into the logo.

Logo design - with treatment for both the company name "AppliCorp", and a graphical logo, icon or cartoon. The logo should pop - using vibrant colors and a playful design. The logo could be an iphone/mobile device, something that looks like an app icon, something representing touch (touchscreen), or anything else that gives the feel of creativity, excellence, or creativity. Potential use of shading to give a 3d effect or the U shaped lighting effect on iphone icons could also work.
Below are a smattering of web 2.0 icons that could be inspirational. Some are because of the colors, some the font choice, and some the logo. I believe I prefer a rounder, softer font, but will consider anything.
