Thanks a ton for all of your awesome entries! We are currently deliberating on a winner and should have an answer soon. Please be patient as there are a lot of submissions and your hard work has made our decision very diffucult.

    Thanks again!

First off. Thank you all for your submissions. I personally have tried this myself and I understand the work you are doing to come up with these logos. It is very much appreciates.

I have a couple of general notes so far that might help you along with further submissions.

1)Make sure you read through all of the brief to get a better idea of what we are looking for. Simple, easy to read and scale logos will impress us the most. We want this to translate well into a 1 color logo so a lot of shading and fancy backgrounds will be of little use to us in the long run.

    2) We like to call ourselves "edgy", "controversial" and "a little out there" when it comes to our show. We're a bit crazy and we'd like the logo to represent that.

I don't know what else to say to help you all out but I would like to once again thank you all for your hard work so far and look forward to seeing more great submissions.

    Thank you,

    Fueled by Beer Radio.

Thanks Tropicandrew. We'd like to get something original and sharp from this so we have given a lot of time to you guys. As far as a 2nd prize? How about all our previous shows on CD? We're totally out of extra funds on this to award to a winner so if you're a fan of the show, we'll throw in our Show Archives to 2nd place (over 200 hours of Audio). 1st place can get it too if they want.

On a side note, we're doing our live broadcast this evening so I will not be able to get any feedback done until tomorrow. Thanks in advance for all of your submissions and I look forward to really looking at them in detail tomorrow.

The brief sounds wonderful and given the time you gave on this, I sure hope to be able to get something in. A+ to the length, because the process of creating original work (concept, research, sketching, refining, etc.) should be more than a week, LOL.

Thanks! The first two I've submitted are vector... I'd like to do one or two in photoshop, so I'll make sure they are very high res & large. Thanks again!

To answer you other question, Barbie. We would like to throw this on T-shirts at some point so this will probably end up pretty big in some cases.

Here's the exact response from our Web / Graphic Design guy.

"I suppose. It just makes it harder to scale. But if its really hi-res, it shouldnt be much of an issue."

Bottom line is that we'd prefer not to go that route but if you can't do it any other way, go for it. It won't disqualify you.

I'd be interested in knowing the answer to that as well... if you let us know what the largest thing is that you would expect to use it on, we could do it that size... have a couple ideas that I can do in photoshop but not so good in illustrator... Thanks

If you can submit them in both color and a black and white version, I see no reason why not. My partner is the one to truly answer this correctly though. I will get back to you very soon on a definite yes or no.
