Excellent entries all! You guys have some great talent.
I received some mock-ups for some other ideas that I think are more outside the box than what I've been confining myself to. Take a look.

I'd also like to mention that I will be holding another $250 contest for another tech company within the next month. I will give the winner of this contest a chance to submit an entry before I go live with the contest here.

Here's a mock-up that I think captures what I'm looking for conceptually. It is a bit rough but something along these lines sounds good.

Notice how "Systems" exudes the feeling of systems/DOS/tech.
Architech is the change to be creative, whether you highlight the entire word or the tech portion of it.
An idea is having the dot of the i morph into a fiber cable, just a thought.
