It's sort of a bummer that nobody has yet tried the clubs.
No need for the whole card, but you are welcome to throw that in if you like. The real key to this logo is clearly understanding what the other on the market are doing. Ellusionist, Handlordz.com, etc. The person who get's this may have an opportunity to do an entire deck project, which would be a condiderable amount of work. Think complex, gothic merged with modern street feel. This is magic in the next generation, not old school.
So you just want the spades logo..... you don't want anything else? Do you want the whole card design?

Two logos.However, you pose an intersting idea of having them next to one another.
They can look very similar... in fact you could just substitude the club out for a spade or spade for the club. The fact is, the Spade is the most common so that is the one to start with. I tell ya what, submit just ONE -- the spade of the club and we will base it off of that submission and work out the details later. Have at it!
I think he means two in one, like maybe a spade and a clover beside eachother fighting for their life in a gothic battle with gargoyle wings and fangs.. okay I got carried away, but I think he means one logo anyways - but who am I to speak for the Contest Holder.. Why am I even typing this :)
