    Hi everyone, For further clarification:
I am looking to incorporate an element like a video camera in the logo, or something that shows this is a video site for pet owners.
I will look to incorporate the images of the dogs either eating or not eating the food in the primary site design instead of the logo. -- Cheers, Paul

"We are looking for a logo that combines the element of a video camera with a dog. We would really like to see a logo that showed two dogs.
The first dog would be looking up (with it's front arms crossed in an X) and shaking his head "no way I'm not going to eat it" and
The second dog would have it's head burried in a bowl and happily eating the food."

    @flyrockies
Don't You think this idea is too direct? The logo should identify the brand, not describe exactly what the site is about...

Dear Designers, thank you for the entries thus far. While they are all very good, we are still searching for the right logo.
I think the filmstrip idea is a bit too outdated for today's digital world. We would like to see a different video camera in the logo either a motion picture camera, or sony handicam type. The web site will have a video commercial showing dog's eating or not eating pet food. If you want an idea of what that is like, google Johnny Carson Alpo Dog Food Commercial. It was a skit from the 1970's that showed a dog refusing to eat the food on live tv.

Let me know if you have any further questions. I may have to extend the contest in order to get more entries.

    To all template designers:

The CODED template should be fully compliant with current web-standards.
The color, fonts, positioning, and other design elements should be housed in a CSS file, and the html pages should contain structural information so the code is compact, readable, and easily editable by the staff who will fill your templates with our content.

Please do not use frames or browser-specific technologies because the site must look equally good on Mac and PC using Safari, FireFox and Internet Explorer.

We will need the template in both PSD and HTML (plus all fonts used).

If you are interested in submitting an UNCODED template, we will pay $225 for your efforts.

    CONTEST PRIZE'S -- UPDATED
$525 in total prizes + possibility for future additional work on site.
First Place Prize for CODED Template is $400.00
First Place Prize for LOGO Winner is $125.00
    or
First Place Prize for UNCODED Template is $225.00

    Dear Designers:
Thank you for the entries. I am need everyone to consider the question "Will Who Eat It?"

I need to be absolutely certain that people know this site is for dogs and they don't send in videos of themselves eating nasty things. So, I would like to see either a dog bowl, bones, kibble, etc.

I would like to incorporate an element from the video side too, like a video camera, film strip or clapboard. See this link: http://www.studio1productions.com/clapboards.htm if you don't know what a clapboard is.

I would be really interested in seeing designs that incorporate these ideas as part of the logo.
