thanks!
Okay everyone, this was tough!! But, ultimately I chose the one that I thought best captured the "candid" feel of my company name. Thanks to everyone involved!
thank you very much
This is very difficult! And, the outside opinions we've received have been all over the board...all the top entries were great!
We are still working to decide, but I wanted to post an update that we have narrowed it down to the two top choices: #101 and #108. Thanks to everyone who entered and we'll be sure to keep you posted here.
I'd say 108... really feels friendly, and "mutty" :D
One more finalist....a late entry that just kept growing on us so we've decided to consider it, #108.
Thanks everyone!
Wow - this is a really tough decision! Just wanted to let everyone know that we are trying to figure out which one fits best for our needs. I was busy yesterday, but am going to go through and give feedback to all the recent entries, even though I know it's somewhat irrelevant to this contest.
Our favorites that we are considering for the win include (in numeric order) #86, #87, #101, #102 and #106.
Thanks to everyone for your fun and creative designs!!
Thanks. :)
Lkirk nice design #69
no problem sigode. appreciated!!
@loya
thanks. PM :)
#91 it is just the same dog shape like in #89 with some hair details added.
I just wanted to thank everyone for their creativity...you are making this decision VERY difficult!
If no one is opposed to the idea, I'd like to wait to finalize colors until I've selected the design. That way no one has to try too many color combos, especially because I'm having trouble deciding what color this logo should be. I generally prefer blues and greens and oranges, but I can't seem to settle on anything particular. Just an FYI that I hope the winning designer would be willing to try a few colors for me. Thanks!
#88 without the logo on the top would look the best in my opinion :)
For those of you looking for ideas about what type of font I like...So far, I like...#47 and #17 fonts the best. I also like #37, but it might be a bit too much in that it might be hard to read on quick glance?
Basically, I like something casual (I've always liked the comic sans sorts of fonts in Word, but I don't have a lot of "font" experience to know stuff outside of Microsoft). But, I want to make sure it's not too crazy so that it is easy for people to read. Also, I prefer it be fairly bold (i.e. thick lines) so that the lines don't disappear when embroidered on a polarfleece vest, etc. If you can, you might look at the other contests I've had (by clicking on my username) - my other photo logo is for a more serious side of my business (those lines embroidered fine, but my embroidery vendor warned me after seeing them, hence my recommendations here), but the cabin logo shows a bit of my "casual" style relative to logos. Although, I should point out that I consider that font "rustic casual" and I'm probably looking for "fun casual" on this one. Thanks!
Another idea I think I might like is having the dog head be in that classic, inquisitive cocked-sideways pose...almost straight on looking at you, but cocked to the side. Most dog owners know it well....just say the word "cookie" or "wanna go for a walk?" It captures a certain personification that I think people who purchase photos of their pets can appreciate. Not sure if I described what I mean very well...
