Entrepreneur who is 100% focused on combating childhood obesity through a combination of social networking, crowdsourcing and a privatized funding mechanism. With 1 in 5 kids in America considered obese and the public school systems only contributing on average of $1000 annually to the 99,000 public schools in America, the problem is only escalating. By 2015, 75% of adults will be overweight and 41% will be considered obese. Education and government grants alone are not working - the power of Facebook, online tools and crowdsourcing a vast network of personal trainers, historically focused on high net worth individuals, can be combined with an 'iTunes like' pricing model targeted @ parents looking to fund physical education in their communities.
