Thanks for choosing me CH, thanks bob.
Congrats to the winner!
Picking a winning design among all these great entries was very tough for us. We ultimately went with a more generic design which did not specify any particular theater of operation and which was simple but not TOO simple in its approach.
We thank all the designers who took the time to participate. These designs were truly beautiful.
Nope BombardierBob, whatever you wrote was right.
A suggestion and just that a suggestion is if you are hung up on a couple
designs you can always select more then one winner. To do that you select
one as the over all winner and PM the other designers that designs you
like and pay them the same prize amount. Once you have the designs you
can set up a revolving logo header or have a header for each page on your
site. Once again just a suggestion...

We're having a harder time choosing the final winner than we thought. So many great designs. We will, nevertheless, have our final decision by tomorrow -- with apologies for the short delay. Thanks.
Looks like I got the cut without any feedback so that is that for me. Good Luck to the rest and Congrats on who ever wins this. To BombardierBob I have to say your entries got better the closer to the end of this and way better then my entry, I would have done more but think I am glad I didn't as your stuff is way better on this contest.
Hi - The contest is officially over. We will be announcing the winner within the next 24 hours. I can't thank you all enough for your entries. This was our first contest, although I'm sure it will not be our last. Thanks for all your efforts and your patience with us during our "learning curve" this first time around.
Good catch. If these markings are easily removed/replaced, we won't worry about it then.
Yeah, mine has the markings as well, but I can easily remove them afterwards, as they are SVG's.
Looks like #24, #35 and #53 all have the nice cheerio English Markings in their logos. #56 I like cause now it looks
like sort of a magazine cover label. I like that one the most so far, pretty good work and way better then my own.
This is a fun cheap contest that is for sure! :)
We'll be making our final choice later today. Just eliminated #12 because I just noticed the British roundels on the wings, and although the Brits did order some P-38s from us, we want to keep the identifying markings as U.S.
Right you are. #45 has been eliminated as it's the wrong aircraft, although it's a very nice design. If digitaldesign would like to resubmit with the right plane, that would be great.
lol, my browser shows it wrong to me or ? when i saw last time my design was rated 3 and now it's down to 2.
#45 is not a P-38 but a German Bf110C
I know my WWII aircraft being raised around so
many and have the pleasure of flying in them as
well.
I will be submitting a design for this contest but have to say #38 ironically is really sharp and there is something to it that I find eye catchy and both fits in with the modern feel but also with the historical feel as well. #24 I also like but looks like it's more of WWII propaganda film feel that you get when you go to the movies during the war period. #20, #22 and #23 are ok if your going for the cheaper snap together P-38 model kits you find in stores. That is what I get when I seen them at first glance. Hopefully my entry will get at least a couple stars.
