@franknfurter ..as you do not have an entry, or have withdrawn it, ...your comments are not particularly constructive. For future reference, ..if someone creates a design themselves, even if of an everyday object like a cog, ..then it is unique.

Thanks for the bsuiness card too TW, ...my position is this: ..i do slightly prefer the stile of Joerizs #48, which i requested modifcations, ..which, in #51 i don't like as they didn't really work, ...BUT he will be in the office tomorrow, ..so i am hoping he can supply something to enable me to make a clear decision within the competition time as there is no extension available.
...so we will just have to sit tight until tomorrow.

#39 & #43 are really the strongest right now

#39 has a great logo, ..very clear, ..i just need it to be a little more clearly recognisable when small.

#43 is just great, ..looks clean, professional, ..has the m/gear play ..and many options for usage.

As we are halfway through, i would ay hold off on the GEARS ideas for now, ..i would like to see a few that make use of the letter M for the logo.
Less gears,, ..more play on the M and logo.

I kow i am being a little harsh with my eliminations, ..sorry. it's just i know what i am after and so i am trying to be pretty honest, ..if it doesn't grab me then there is no point leaving it.
The 2 designers that remain have provided clean logos, with simple yet effective icons that lend themselves to multiple use, ...neutral colours and a general positiove feel.

#23, #24 are really strong, what i like is that i think we will be able to include the gear idea into them, ..but the main focus on designing it has not been to write the name and then 'whack on a gear'

I also very much like the 'mog' in bold and the 'machine' not, ..only subtle, ..but quite important as i am mog, and it is my machine.

Everyone seems to be going down the 'gears' route which i do like, .but i would like to see another take on the subject too.
SevenLuck is definitely the strongest in terms of a mdern, clean web 2.0 logo with many options, ...and his/her gears and iconography are the strongest too, ..

..but djile and JangoFett although gear based still are starting to move away from just one gear, ..which i would really like to see.

I will be a little dissappointed if i have to choose a winner from just 'gear' designs even if that is what i end up choosing anyway.
