The Milwaukee Brewfest will take place on July 31st along the lakefront of Lake Michigan. The park setting offers easy walking distance from the main entertainment district as well as ample parking. We are working on the event with Milwaukee County Parks. While Milwaukee is the home of beer, this is the first large scale brew festival in the city.
Milwaukee Brew Fest
The brewfest is targeted to 21 years old and older of course. The target audience will be 24-45 year olds. The event should draw a mix of beer afficinados as well as the casual beer drinkers. At the event, you will have unlimited tasting opportunities, food sampling, food vendors, games, Brewfest Queen contest, musical performances and educational exhibits. We want a fun, lively event with a mix of ages. However, we don't want the event to appear to be a giant "keg party".
The logo will, ideally, recall the various classic beer logo designs...emblems...barley/hops..etc The logo may want to have a unique Milwaukee appeal to it, whether that is referencing the lakefront, city scape, etc.
Many of the logos used by other brewfests have included pint glasses, steins etc. While certainly not opposed to such an incorporation, we'd want to make sure that the design would stand out from what others have done.
The logo would be used in all promtoinal material as well as on branded apparel and items for sale at the event.
