Smitten for Good
A lifestyle blog showcasing people, products, and music that evoke feelings of "being smitten" - that momentary yet timeless euphoric impulse, sensation of lightness and buoyancy, and rush of joy and giddiness.
Our main target audience consists of younger adults (18-30 yrs old, primarily males) who want to explore the latest lifestyle trends of an era defined by the rapid advance of technology, ever-growing social media connectivity, and the shared desire by the individuals of our generation who want to make an impact in this world. They are generally younger, cooler, hipper, artsy, somewhat tech-savvy, fashion-conscious, current with the world of pop culture, and interested in improving their social intelligence and presence.

The hippo mascot will be the symbol of our organization. He is based on the hippo figurine in the attached photos. I have also attached some examples of how I would like to see him and the logo designed - simple, minimalist, and hip, but nothing too feminine.
The brand identity we want to convey is that we're hip in dorky ways, easy-going, carefree, somewhat quirky, and suckers for subtle humor.
Here is some of the language we will be using on our site. The following content captures the brand identity we're going for:
Our not-so-secret top secret mission (About Us page)
You know that feeling when you encounter something so sexy, awesome, and cool, you just get fuzzy all over? That momentary yet timeless euphoric impulse, that sensation of lightness and buoyancy, that rush of joy and giddiness? That feeling of an awesomeness so terrible, you almost want to throw up, but in a good way? Yeah, we totally love that too. Which is why we're on a mission to discover everything in this world that will make you feel that way. Prepare to get smitten.
Holler at us (Contact Us page)
Want to ask us a question, find out how you can work with us, tell us a joke (it better be good!), or just holler in general? Then what the H are you waiting for? Holler away below, you slow poke!
And finally, some sites I feel that have a similar brand identity to what we're going for:
connecting 227,208 designers with customers seeking design services.
